I was raised in the city of Chicago where I learned to survive at an early age. I learned to be aware of my surroundings at all times, and I learned to make sound decisions at a moment's notice.

My wife enrolled my eight year old daughter into True Power Martial Arts. One evening I attended a workout and noticed how much fun all the students were having. I also noticed the confidence that was displayed by the youngest students as well as the older ones. This is where I first saw how True Power Martial Arts builds self-confidence, discipline, and physical stamina.

I am presently a First Sergeant in the Illinois Army National Guard. In order to lead soldiers as I do, you must be mentally and physically strong. Standards are very high in the military. True Power Martial Arts has helped me reach these high standards in my profession as well as in my personal life.
